Scope of Works

Westcool was responsible for the mechanical services installation for Stage 2 of The Saleyard, a large-format retail development located at the corner of Clayton and Lloyd Streets in Midland, WA. The scope of this project encompassed a diverse range of areas within the development:

  • Building 78,500m²: This large-format retail space includes four tenancies, public toilets, and end-of-trip facilities, as well as a 785m² services yard with fire tanks and a pump room.
  • Building 8 (central area of the Stage 1 car park): This area includes 840m² dedicated to food and beverage tenancies, comprising four retail units.

Our mechanical services installation involved the supply and installation of packaged and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) air conditioning systems, heating and ventilation systems, exhaust ventilation systems, and all associated control systems.

Project Outcome

Westcool delivered the mechanical services for Stage 2 of The Saleyard project on time and within budget. The systems installed provide efficient climate control for the retail spaces, ensuring a comfortable environment for both tenants and customers. Additionally, the heating, ventilation, and exhaust systems were integrated seamlessly, contributing to the overall functionality and efficiency of the development.
